Delicious kimchi π₯¬ cheese π§ sandwich π₯ͺ.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 70 g Kimchi (best homemade)
- 1-2 slices of cheese (manchego or cheddar)
- 1 slice of bacon
- 1 tbsp butter
Directions
Step 1. Heat the pan and add the bacon. When the pan is hot add the bacon has started to change color add the kimchi diced in 1 cm pieces. Cook for a few minutes until it smells delicious π, then add half the cheese.
Step 2. Heat a pan with butter π§. When the butter has melted, add two pieces of bread. When starting to burn take out.
Step 3. Add the kimchi bacon mixture on top of the bread on the cooked side, also add the remaining cheese. Close the sandwich and add to the pan with more butter. Turn when the bread has reached the desired caramelization. Should be starting to toast, and the cheese melted.
Tip. Fresh tomatoes or crunchy greens with a simple vinagrette are best for side dishes here π π₯¬. Best bread in Berlin now is at Keit.
