Pelmeni ala Grandma

Delicious pelmeni we did in August 2024. One variant had Ube extract in it and mishroom + sesame filling added to the meat.

Ingredients

โ”ƒ yield โ€” 4
  • 300g flour
  • 1 egg
  • Glass of hot (not boiling) water
  • 2tsp of salt
  • 200g beef and pork minced meat
  • Black pepper
  • White pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • Splash of milk
  • ~150ml chicken stock

Directions

โ”ƒ โ—• โ€” 2 hours

๐ŸฅŸ Dough

  1. Place flour, egg, and salt in a bowl
  2. Start mixing occasionally pouring water bit by bit until you get to a non-sticky and elastic consistency
  3. Let the dough rest for 20 in room temperature covered (to not dry)

๐Ÿท Meat

  1. Mix in meat, salt, peeprs, stock, milk, garlic, fine chopped onion in a separate bowl
